RqndomHax's solution did work but how do I add it now to the Itch launcher? It's really weird because almost all games are okay, but several like SOMOS refuse to download through the client.

The game doesn't download, I don't get the option in the drop down menu. I have tried for the past days, it's not already installed. This also happened with another game and that got fixed by the devs, so not sure what I can do but inform you. Thanks in advance for your help.

I had this issue yesterday, but I'm currently downloading it, so it seems solved.
